On the larger drives around Codsall, Bilbrook and Perton, resin bound gravel gives you the look of natural stone without the gravel that ends up in the borders. It is permeable, smooth underfoot and easy to look after.
We lay it on a properly prepared base, with neat edging against lawns and beds. You get to see real samples on a free site visit and a fixed price in writing.

Where a drive meets a lawn or a planted border, the edging matters. We use proper edge details so the resin has a clean line and the grass and soil stay where they belong.
Natural golds and browns tend to suit the brick and the gardens here, but greys work well on newer homes. We will show you both.
A long drive in Codsall Wood or Oaken is a lot of resin, and on a big area the base matters more than ever. Where the existing drive is gravel or old tarmac over a long run, we usually recommend a new base so the whole surface is sound, then lay the resin in sections with neat joins that are hard to spot once it has cured.
Resin cannot be laid in the rain or on a cold, damp surface, so on bigger drives we plan the work over days with a settled forecast. That is one reason we give you a realistic timeframe with the quote rather than a single date. It is better to wait a day than to lay a surface that will not cure properly.
In Bilbrook and Perton, where drives are usually shorter and meet the pavement, resin with a block border keeps a smart, finished line against neighbouring drives. If you have established trees near the drive, a blend with some darker stone in it hides leaf marks better between sweeps. We bring a sample board so you can hold it up against your house.
If your kerb is not already dropped, you need permission from Staffordshire County Council before you can drive across the pavement in Codsall. It is worth applying early, because approval is not instant. We measure up with the kerb in mind so the driveway lines up with it.
Paving more than five square metres of a front garden needs planning permission from South Staffordshire Council, unless the rainwater drains into a border, a soakaway or a permeable surface on your own property. Resin bound is permeable, so it usually meets that rule on its own.
Codsall, Bilbrook and Perton have plenty of established trees, so before we dig we check for roots close to the work and plan the edges around them rather than cutting through.
